Spicy is Here!
Chances are, you’ll never be able to order sushi from Chick-fil-A. There won’t be hot dogs on the menu. We might never put a collection of our favorite items in a bowl. At the end of the day, we like to keep things simple. We like to focus on what we do best, the chicken sandwich.
And this week, we’re doing that, with a twist. After years of thought and preparation, we are adding a new member to the Chick-fil-A menu, the Spicy Chicken Sandwich.
Why spicy? Why now?
There are dozens of reasons we felt like this was the right decision, but one of my favorites is that customers wanted it. We’ve long understood that some customers have been making their own spicy sandwiches at Chick-fil-A. It’s not uncommon to see a customer put hot sauce on our traditional sandwich in order to add a little kick. Noting that, we decided to honor that demand by developing our own Spicy Chicken Sandwich.
It debuts this week and I hope you’ll have a chance to give it a try. We’re proud of this new addition to the menu. We’re proud that we have creative customers who challenge us and what we offer.
Above all, we’re excited that this week, things are getting spicy at Chick-fil-A!

I love it!! I have had a couple in California and then had to come back home to Arkansas to wait for this day. It’s the best spicy chicken sandwich on the planet and you guys have scored big time!

The spicy chicken sandwich is amazing. Thanks for making it available. It is so popular that I waited almost 10 minutes after the order, in a sea of people, for my food. That is an unprecedented wait time at Chick-fil-A but it was worth it!
I am a HUGE Chickfila fan!! And when I heard there was going to be a spicy chicken sandwich, I was psyched! My husband and I both love spicy chicken sandwiches, but after having tried it….I have to admit, I’m disappointed. It’s way hot and tastes ONLY like hot sauce. I guess it just wasn’t what we were expecting. I think i’ll stick to the regular chicken sandwich.

You started the “wildfire in our mouth” this AM when the Chic girls on the corners near TCU handed them to us at the red-light. WOW that was a “spicy chicken”. Love love love it!!!! Thanks, We’ll be back, The Mattoon’s
I just finished the new Spicy Chicken Sandwich and it was great!! Just the right amount of spice, flare, and crunch (not to hard, not to soft). You have always carried premium chicken in my eyes, but this sandwich is supreme! 490 cal Spicy Ckn Sand + 30 cal Diet Lemonade + 50 cal Small Fruit Cup = Perfecto! Great for a work day lunch and snack!
